Bryce Canyon to Lake Tahoe, CA

Beaver, UT
to
Lake Tahoe, CA
WP 43 to WP 47, mile 3400 to mile 4100

As can be seen on the map this is a very mountainous section of the trip where scenery changed with the altitude. Generally the whole area is high semi desert but there were more than a few passes which are more than 2000' higher than the valley either side. We drove on parts of hwy 50, which is known as America's Loneliest Highway. No cell service, no FM radio stations for much of this area. Sirius Radio is wonderful.

It IS May and that IS snow on the wiper

A cherry tree, non edible variety, Beaver, UT

These guys really are free range cattle.
They don't much care if a vehicle is coming at them at 70mph

Somewhere on hwy 21, UT

This is hwy 21 a 120 mile stretch of road between Beaver, WP 43 & ELy, NV, 44.
Over 2 hours driving time & we saw only about
6 vehicles going in the OPPOSITE direction!

One very lonely road.

Wind generators next to hwy 50, NV. For a sense of scale,
bottom left is a RV trailer of similar size to ours, 35'.

Looks as blue as Bermuda water but no life in it
